My buddy, Dave Konstantino, an old friend from my CJAM days, does an annual Surf show on his weekly program, Revolution Rock. Hella respect to BIG DAVE as the guy knows his stuff when it comes to Surf. I mean, he's asked me to come on the show the past few years so ya know that means he is surf savvy.
Revolution SURF aired on February 26, 2013, and was a general Surf special with a bit of focus on The Ventures' Walk, Don't Run. Past years, Big Dave did some retrospectives on Surf gods like Dick Dale and Link Wray but this year, he said to me, he says "Derk, let's just do whatever the hell we want. (sic)" and ya know that is how The Big Derboski rolls! Although Dave and I are pretty much two worlds apart, him in Windsor and myself in HELL CITY, we still get along famously and can put together one hell of a Surf show. As I am wont to say, DIG IT!!

On the regular, he plays a lot of garage, fuzz, muff, what-have-you, kinda rock so if yer into that stuff, I highly recommend Revolution Rock. CAN YOU FRIGGIN' DIG IT! There's an award named after me too HA! I am just way past cool! Ya know the Lone Wolf got a personality larger than life, that's why I'm THE BIG DERBOSKI. There are some serious contenders for Best On-Air Personality but in my humble opinion, I definitely think it should go to Slim Gene of Jump Kat Jump. That guy was a great friend of mine at CJAM and also a big influence on me so I would love to see ol' Slim Gene, my fellow greaser, cuffed jeans, greasy hair, JUST TOO KOOL buddy win the Derk Brigante Memorial Award. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
